Healthier habits.
More room to play.

Kids do kid-scaled workouts and chores. Minutes go in the bank — and they never expire. Spend them on play time you set up, or on real-world rewards you price yourself.

MoveToPlay

A fitness-centered app that helps children earn and bank minutes through movement, recovery activities, and chores you approve — then spend them on play time or on rewards you choose.

Movement earns minutes

Age-appropriate strength, cardio, mobility, balance, and recovery activities bank minutes. So do chores you approve — set what each one is worth, and how often it can come round again.

Minutes buy more than screen time

One currency, one bank. Minutes unlock a timed play session — or a real-world reward you price yourself, like a movie night, a trip out, or extra allowance. Banked minutes never expire, and unused time from a session that ended early goes straight back.

Parents stay in control

A PIN-protected dashboard, separate from what the child sees. You decide what each chore pays, how much activities pay out, which play sessions exist, and a weekly maximum on what a child can earn through their own effort. That number is yours to set.

Built for more than one child

Every child gets their own bank, quests, progression, and reward history, kept fully separate. A child's device only ever shows their own data. A second parent can join with Family Sharing or a short pairing code — no child Apple ID required.

Progress that's actually true

Exercises advance gradually over months and years, with honest regressions like a chair-supported squat instead of pretending every child should hit a full one on day one. If something hurt, they can say so, and you'll see it. Calm Mode turns off celebrations and haptics for kids who find them too much.

Designed around Apple devices

MoveToPlay runs on Apple Watch, iPad, and iPhone, with a home screen widget for the current bank and a Lock Screen countdown while a session runs. Parent-managed app locking (the games and apps you select and authorize through Family Controls) applies on iPhone and iPad; Apple Watch can start and track play sessions but doesn't lock apps itself. It also runs on Mac — since Apple's screen-time controls don't extend to Mac apps the same way, Mac relies on macOS's own built-in Screen Time alongside the reward system.

Our approach

Technology should support family life—not compete with it.

MoveToPlay is built with clear parent controls, minimal personal information, and no ads. No fabricated streaks, no guilt messages, and nothing designed to pull a child back into the app.

Free to try for 14 days. After that it's a subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase — either way, one purchase covers the children in your family group. Family progress, minutes, and reward rules sync over iCloud.
